How To Get Through To Oregon Unemployment

Anyone else getting a busy signal when trying to call Oregon Unemployment?

I've been trying to call someone to figure out why I got denied unemployment despite being laid off. I've been trying for three days, nothing but a busy signal until my phone says "Cannot be completed as dialed". Has anyone gotten through?

I'm now approaching 4 hours straight of dialing - folks on my post have said they've gotten through, but I have yet to be so lucky. Persistence is key, I guess

I called obsessively, about ~300 calls in 30 minutes. I was finally able to get through and am now on hold. Just keep trying, thats the best advice I can give.

did you let it ring through on the busy signal or just hang up call, hang up, call, repeatedly? Thanks.

I put an auto-dialer app on my phone yesterday and started calling this morning at 8am. I finally got through at 11:50 after over 700 calls. I've now been listening to this god fucking awful song on hold for about 80 minutes. The offices close for the week in less than four hours. We'll see if I get through to anyone. I really hope I do. As much as I need a source of income I really don't think I can take another day of listening to this god damn song. It's high pitched screechy sound that can only be compared to a person strangling a bag of cats while their accomplice scratches a chalk-board.

3 hour hold time if you get through. Fingers crossed took my wife and I all week to get through.

Can I ask why people are calling for filing when the website is working? Seems easier to file there and have them contact you?

I filed through the website, got denied despite being qualified so now I need to speak to an actual human to figure out what is going on. I'm at my wits end.

Called and got a busy tone. Re-dialed over 100+ times until I got thru to the hold queue. Sat on hold only to get disconnected 2.5 hours after waiting on hold.

I had to go through unemployment back in September and it was a nightmare and understaffed back then, I can only imagine how bad it is now. They essentially deny you and force you to fight to get a claim taken seriously.

Made a profile just to comment here. This is completely insane. I've called manually at least 2000 times since Monday, every day beginning right at 8. I don't have any helpful advice for anyone, just here to bitch. I get that they're inundated, but this is nightmarish. I wish there was an auto dialer that actually worked for iPhone. I'm in the same boat as @anhfange. I want to barf.
